8.00 I walked to the lanes in steady and heavy rain. I was quite comfortable in my winter coat with the hood up. The wind was blowing from the south east. Traffic very light. A few crows, struggling against the wind, seemed to have an agreed destination.
9.00 50F. Pouring with rain and blowing.
I spent a very wet day relaxing again. The stove had to go back on to take the chill off. 61F/16C.
Dinner was a change. I boiled some potatoes to go with cod in batter. No beans and no tinned tomatoes.
