30.04.2021

 ~~

Friday 30th 46F, a bright start from a milky sky. A walk to the lanes in calm conditions. The wind turbines were crawling around on flat batteries. Within a few minutes they had sped up. Just as I turned for home into a cool NE headwind. My knee was hurting again despite the elasticated support sleeve. I have avoided heavy exercise for several days now without obvious improvement. The neighbour's guard dog has finally taken my advice and was sunbathing this morning. I had previously pointed out that it was silly to sit in a draughty gap in deep shade.

A light shower at 12.45. A heavier one just before 6pm. The Head Gardener is doing her rain dance. She alleges there is a severe drought.

29.04.2021

 ~~

Thursday 29th 45F, heavy overcast, rain and NE wind. Remaining cool. Rain on the windows and puddles in the garden wheelbarrows. The wind carried spots of rain as I walked to the lanes. Hands deep in my winter jacket pockets and my hood reducing the unpleasantness of the buffeting wind.

It continued with grey skies and  a cool north-easterly wind.

28.04.2021

 ~~~
Wednesday 28th 37-53F, cool start but sunny again. An early, brisk limp to the lanes. Skylarks, Goldfinches and geese provided today's entertainment. It soon turned cloudy.
A late morning ride for 14 miles of undulating lanes. Almost no traffic. I am incredibly lucky to have these unspoilt lanes to myself. The cold easterly headwind roared in my ears. While I was spinning in top gear when heading west.
What looked like a dead buzzard lay on the verge. Though I was travelling fast at the time. My swollen knee was never noticeable until I climbed off.
The Danish government has released a plan to make agriculture more climate friendly and reduce CO2. It has been panned as having far too little ambition. Even the idea of flooding low lying marsh land, instead of cropping it, is weaker than the farmers themselves have already suggested. Drained marshland releases masses of CO2.
53 cars have now been confiscated under the new law covering "insane driving" in Denmark since the beginning of the month. Only half of these were owned by the driver. Insane driving covers driving at 100% over the speed limit. Driving at over 200kmph and being under the effect of excessive alcohol or drugs. Five of these 53 drivers were women. The confiscated cars are auctioned.
27.04.2021 First swallow of the year.
 ~~
Tuesday 27th 28F, frost and sunshine again. My knee is improving but still painful.
A later walk to the lanes in bright sunshine. I saw my first swallow of the year. It flew close to me to have a proper look. A gorgeous pair of Bullfinches were foraging in the hedge. Along with umpteen other birds.
A distant tractor was raking the dusty area up near the woods again. Haven't they heard of "no dig gardening?"
With the winter temperatures still dragging on I shall have to buy some more fuel for the wood stove. We'd hoped it would be all over by now. So we could finally take off our charity shop bought, down jackets.
There is a growing, Danish, public backlash against solar farms. Which are springing up everywhere without a thought for the locals. Usually, and just like wind turbines and wind farms before them, there are absent investors behind the swathes of solar panels despoiling the countryside.
They don't give a damn if somebody [unimportant] loses their priceless view. Or a local amenity in the form of a wood or a popular rural path is lost. As long as there is a well subsidised, tax free profit to be made. The rich get richer and the poor are blamed for their resistance to progress.
I have been keen on solar and alternative energy for well over 40 years. Originally, it was supposed to democratize energy production. Somebody forgot to mention this to the big spenders and politicians.
An afternoon drive to fetch some more compressed wood briquettes for the stove. A double petrol tanker was speeding through tight bends in the 30mph village. Probably because the road leads directly to a long hill and the driver needed a good run up. Even if it meant using my side of the road as well!
There is a new law here. Where "insane driving" results in instant confiscation of the vehicle regardless of ownership. 45 vehicles taken away so far and counting. Insane drivers are clearly very slow learners. What would a double petrol tanker cost to replace if it were confiscated? Small change to a taxpayer subsidized, global oil company. i.e. Absolutely no deterrent at all!
26.04.2021
 ~~
Monday 26th 33F, another overnight frost. Bright sunshine again but still cool. My knee is improving. The Head Gardener has been advocating Arnica oil and a knee "bandage" in the form of a sleeve made from diver's wet suit material. And who am I to argue with such an authority?
A walk to the lanes in bright sunshine. Slightly chilly breeze to start. My knee is improved even if its owner is not. Birdsong in the hedges but no birds of prey.
It is reported that the Earth has shifted on its axis due to ice melt. Meanwhile, global, coal production continues to grow. Most of the 2020 reductions in fossil fuels, because of the Jinping Plague, are already undone as the recovery begins.
25.04.2021
 ~~
Sunday 25th 34-40-45-51F, sunny all day but cool. An eye-wateringly cold breeze on my hobble to the lanes. My right leg is still complaining from overuse on the ladders. My whole knee is swollen. Nothing much else to report. Hardly any traffic. The cherry blossom is still looking well. Some cloud after 12.30.
~~
24 Apr 2021
24.04.2021
 ~~
Saturday 24th 39F, bright with thin high streaks of cloud. Another dry, but cool, sunny day.
A cool walk to the lanes. Traffic intermittent with long periods of silence. A distant roe deer stared back at me from afar. It is standing right in the middle of the picture.
A long, sunny day but remaining cool at 53F max.
~~
23 Apr 2021
23.04.2021
 ~~
Friday 23rd 36-55F, cool and sunny but a cold wind expected from the north again. An early walk to the lanes with a cool breeze. No wildlife to report. Just a greenfinch "wheezing" in the garden. Quite a lot of traffic.
~~
22 Apr 2021
22.04.2021 Mutually Assured Greening?
 ~~
Thursday 22nd 42F, bright sunshine. Expected to be breezy again. And it was. Quite a brisk and cold wind from the NW. I did not hang about and nor did the wildlife. Internet at 83Mbps again instead of the "guaranteed" 200.
Things are almost looking positive on the climate front. Can you imagine a superpower competition to be greenest? I know I can't. Russia, China, Australia, India and the USA are all still fully immersed in fossil fuels. They still taxpayer subsidise them!
There is/was much talk about CO2 reductions by 2030. Yet, no real sign of change. Energy poverty is rife and global. Yet all our "leaders" can think of is making headlines on mega projects. Meanwhile the coal trains keep on rolling. The gas pipelines keep on growing. New coal fired power stations keep on being built. Container ships keep on dwarfing the last. Air conditioning causes increasing brown outs as temperatures soar.
A cynic would point to a complete lack of leadership. Just as there was/is a complete lack of leadership over the pandemic. Just as there is a complete lack of leadership over global inequality. Or the taxation of the ultra-wealthy, big business, modern slavery, offshore economics and tax-free big tech. Judge them all by their actions. Not their empty words and fraudulent, election promises.
A ride for 14 miles on an errand. It was blowing a gale but I was still going well! Saw a red kite.
The Danish news has just announced that 2020 was the warmest year ever recorded.
~~
21 Apr 2021
21.04.2021 Guilty.
 ~~
Wednesday 21st 44F, heavy overcast. Gales to 40mph expected from the NW.
Already a cool breeze as I walked to the lanes. The sky has broken up into clumps of cloud and sunny moments. The acrid stench of pig shit fouled the air.
Justice has finally been served. The cop who carried out an institutionalised execution, in full public view, has been toppled from his untouchable status. Now he will spend an eternity in a badly skewed prison & justice system stuffed with those he helped to place there. His 9 minutes expression of absolute white supremacy is about to become 40 years of regret. Nobody can ever undo that look on his face.
Now we must wait for his massively funded appeal system to grind its gears to prove his "complete innocence." The upside is that every white cop, killing a black person, will be scrutinised by the entire world's media. The USA is on trial now and there are no well heeled ambulance chasers to defend it. The World's Boy Scout image was just a Hollywood special effect. Until Chump smashed it in an infantile tantrum.
20.04.2021
 ~~
Tuesday 20th 34-62F, bright and promising of another sunny day with mid-60sF.
The farmers were spraying the fields in front and behind us today. No idea what. Another tractor was sewing seed on the same distant patch where they were raking yesterday.
It remained sunny all day. Even felt too warm at 62F working in full sunshine.
19 Apr 2021
19.04.2021
 ~~
Monday 19th 47-63F, bright start with a light breeze.
A longer walk up to the forest and back along the marsh. No sign of life on the pond. No birds of prey, deer nor hares today. A distant tractor ploughed the dust in backlit splendour.
It remained sunny all day with a maximum of 63F.
I am having a rest from criticising "the newsworthy." I don't want to be accused of causing a mistrial.
18.04.2021 Thrushes? Who needs them? 🙄
 ~~~

Sunday 18th, 40-60F, bright and calm but with thin high cloud. Windmills stationary. Three days of sunshine promised. Internet started the day at 83Mbps and finished at 220Mbps!

A hobble to the lanes. My knee is complaining about excessive exertion. Fortunately my aching back was cured by the walk. Traffic very light. Sun obscured by cloud at times. A thrush was shouting from a tall birch.

It turned sunny and stayed that way. Reaching 60F in the afternoon. Still with a cool breeze.

17.04.2021 Cuba will continue to be Castrated.

 ~~

Saturday 17th 42F, [no frost] rather cloudy with a light breeze from the NW. Sunshine is promised for later.

Somebody left an anonymous comment on an old post about lacing Brooks saddles They wrote "haha" when [surely] they really meant "Aha!" In an Archimedes accent. 😏 Lacing saddles may not have quite the impact of displacement but it is certainly a leather saddle lifesaver. There's a watered down joke in there somewhere.

Time for walk before I get myself into more trouble with genocidal, psychopathic dictators. The Cuban variety is supposedly going into retirement. But promises to continue fucking things up, from behind, the scenes. Nothing like a run of hereditary, economic failures to keep a people down. Ask the Kims for absolute proof. Criticism is the life blood of human progress. It helps to dilute the drooling idiocy. Of those who fool themselves. That they know all the answers.

Still grey skies at 9.30. A walk to the lanes in a slightly cool breeze. A distant hare was escaping while it still could. No birds of prey nor deer to be seen today.

Is advertising aimed exclusively at fuckwits just another form of inclusivity?

16 Apr 2021

16.04.2021 Get your Superspreader insurance now!

 ~~

Friday 16th, 32-52F, another white frost,  bright and almost calm. Internet still at 82Mbps instead of "guaranteed" 200Mbps. The Internet is provided by the local electricity supplier.

The very same energy supplier is going to replace all the electricity meters. Bang in the middle of a pandemic?!!? When only a small number of Danes have been vaccinated. With highly publicised banning of vaccines following blood clotting issues.

We are in an endangered age group. We have been self-isolating for 15 whole months!

Now they are going to send a technician into every single house to fit a "remote reading meter?" We already have a "remote reading meter!" It was fitted only a few short years ago. Are "they" fully insured against a superspreader event? Or do they have a team of ambulance chasers, on speed dial, to fight every claim?

Advertising company: google.Advertising.youtube.Advertising.con now has so many "retard targeted" adverts showing over YT videos that they have officially taken over from the TV companies in the mass dumbing down of the global population. Fortunately I am immune. Though I do have a PTSD and high blood pressure case pending. As soon as I can find a tame ambulance chaser. One willing to offer no win-no pay services against google.Advertising.con.youtube.Advertising.con.

15 Apr 2021

15.04.2021

 ~~

Thursday 15th 30F, white frost, bright and almost calm. A longer walk into a sparsely populated area. With lots of hares, deer and birds of prey.

Lumix DC-G9 with 50-200mm Leica lens at 70mm, 1/2000 at F4.5. The bird came sailing over a hedge and surprised both of us. I'm calling it a Marsh Harrier until I hear different.

14 Apr 2021

14.04.2021.

 ~~

Wednesday 14th 30F, white overnight frost, calm and bright. Sunny periods promised. Internet at 82Mbps instead of guaranteed 200Mbps.

A brisk, half hour walk to the lanes. I saw a distant red kite but could not capture a worthwhile photo. You'll have to make do with the Western Ridge Direct Descent.

~~

13 Apr 2021

13.04.2021

 ~~

Tuesday 13th 38F, bright but rather cloudy. With a light, SW breeze.  Sunny periods promised. The "guaranteed" 200Mbps Internet is at 81Mbps today.

I walked to the next village just for a change. Then up the steep track to the woods. The wind was cold and increasing. Hood up, gloves remained on. I kept snapping away at a pair of noisy geese which have been circling the area for a few days.

A solitary hare dashed off across a prairie of bare soil. While a skylark rose slowly nearby but still managed to avoid having its photo taken. It was mostly sunny but steadily became more cloudy. I descended by the direct route. Though the soil was very sticky. Requiring considerable walking in long, wet grass to make my boots presentable again. The Head Gardener would be cross if I brought "half a field" back with me!

12 Apr 2021

12.04.2021 Coots.

 ~~

Monday 12th 38-46F, overnight frost, bright but with lots of thin high cloud. Hopefully warmer and brighter than yesterday's miserable, 34F and snow, wintry performance!

An hour and half walk. Up to the forest and back along the marsh. I saw a flock of large deer in the woods. Some with antlers. They melted out of sight before I could get close enough. Almost no sign of life on the marsh pond. Only a couple of panicking coots rapidly going away from me. I had no time to react. Not even to zoom. [Both images cropped for more scale.] These are two different coots, on similar tracks, running on the water from the cover of the reeds, on the near bank.

Then I spotted three small deer up ahead. They were grazing on the edge of the prairie. This was just before I reached the road again. The wind was in my face. So I kept going. Trying to get near enough for a decent image. One deer looked up and they were gone in an instant!

A large, but distant, bird of prey [probably a Red kite] remained too far away for a worthwhile photograph. The dark woods behind it didn't help the cause. I had the 50-200mm Leica lens on the Lumix G9 instead of my usual 100-400mm "wildlife" lens. It has reached a balmy 45F at 11.00am. Big cumulus clouds crossing now.

11 Apr 2021

11.04.2021 A bit wintry for April?

 ~~

Sunday 11th 36F, heavy overcast with rain, snow or sleet in no particular order. Internet back down to 84Mbps from a "guaranteed" 200Mbps.

A walk to the lanes in hooded, winter jacket and baggy over-trousers. Clouds of wet snow scudded across uniform prairies. Sparse, hedgerows, inadequate to hinder the blinding onslaught. Decimated, as they were, by the flail of the traffic impeding, tractor slasher. Broken limbs still lying where they fell onto the littered battlefield for commercial, monogrammed, advertising landfill.

Brown and white, acrid smoke, whipped from low chimneys on squat houses. Cowering amongst their imported shrubbery against another unseasonal thrashing. My wet clothes went into the bath to drain off. While I returned to my throne at the computer keyboard. Still warm, dry and largely unscathed.

10.30 33F and half an inch of wet snow is pitching.

Another "climate" issue is making the news in Denmark. Denmark is already intensively farmed at 62% land cover. With marshland a prime target for yet more of the same. Drain it and it and the land releases masses of CO2 from the waterlogged soil and plant residue. So some farmers wanted to be allowed to flood their marshland and build solar farms. A double win for wildlife and the climate? The "Climate friendly" government said no. If they built solar panels on their wetlands their taxes would rise by nine times. Because it would be classed as industrial production. Rather than intensive, industrial, crop farming with huge machines.

A similar discussion surrounds the issue of depleted quarries. Should they be soil covered and returned to intensive agriculture? Or be allowed to flood and become nature reserves? One local quarry became another golf course, wildlife desert. Another is flooded and already well stocked with water birds. This is despite the relative "rawness" of the still naked, recently landscaped banks. Trees and shrubs will flourish. To provide shelter, privacy and security for ever increasing wildlife.

10.04.2021 Fat Kim has exploded! 🤣

 ~~

Saturday 10th 30-50F, white frost, clear sky, bright sunshine.

A nearly, two hour walk. I took my better camera with the long lens but saw no deer today. A few snaps of the ducks on the lake with the sun behind them. Lots of small birds foraging or singing. Pleasant sunshine with hardly any wind. 10am and it has already reached a scorching 44F. 50F by 13.30.

Leave no hill unploughed.

Fat Kim the Younger Nuclear Tyrant has announced that mass starvation is long overdue for His long-suffering NK victims. He further announced that if anybody eats any of his roasted, gulag babies, with Beluga caviar stuffing, it will be treason!

9.04.2021 Am I underperforming for my global audience?

 ~~

Friday 9th 41-48F, wet and very windy. Expected to stop raining later but remain cloudy. An early walk is unlikely due to the weather conditions. I re-treated my boots yesterday and my jacket is certainly waterproof. Why would I want to voluntarily subject myself to the discomfort of gale-driven rain? Does "my public" expect it? Of course they do! Millions wait with baited breath. As my words of wisdom drop from my gilded keyboard at the touch of my perfectly manicured fingers.

But! Don't I have responsibilities as a "billionaire global influencer" to always look my best? Don't I already have my top, international plastic surgeon on speed dial? My team of skin specialists on permanent call. Don't I have the finest designers at my beck and call? Just to provide that perfect jacket for the processional walk up to the woods? Always in front of the global media. My hairdresser can wing his way across the Atlantic on one of my private jets at my merest whim.

How do I cope with the constant pressure to perform, you ask? I suppose it comes down to perfect genes, a "healthy" diet and a lifetime's struggle. Always trying to be self-important. Endlessly practising the casual flick of my hair in one of my countless, full length mirrors. Practising my comportment at my Private Swiss Finishing School was worth every penny. 😏

Should I do more box opening videos? Would that help to swell my viewing figures? Do I just need more designer kittens in my internationally acclaimed videos? "Cute" always sells product.

Wait! I have just realised what the problem is! Wind noise! That's all that is stopping me from becoming even more of a global, cult figure.

A mid morning walk to the lanes. With the wind roaring steadily in the roadside trees. Four Five tiny deer were grouped against the hedge two fields over. I just found a fifth in my fuzzy photos at full zoom. Lots of sunshine after 10am. Though still with big banks of cloud.

8 Apr 2021

8.04.2021 Tinpot, Turkish dictator flashes his glistered "micro-manhood" in EU musical chairs shame! 🤣

 ~~

Thursday 8th 34F, bright start with light winds. Fluffy white clouds crossing from the north west. Another pig shit spreading day.

The wind was stronger than expected once I escaped the shelter of the garden. When I reached the lanes I disturbed a couple of geese. One took off and landed on top of what passes for a hill in these parts. Where it wandered around aimlessly keeping a wary eye on me. While its partner remained near the boggy copse wondering what he had said wrong. The traffic was like the old days on my way out. Then faded to almost nothing on the return journey. Most of the early commuters were women.

I had immediate access when I visited the Jinping Plague vaccine website this morning. The earliest appointments are a fortnight and 20km away in the city.

It is reported that it took 13 hours to clear the entire pool of taxpayer funds for "energy saving improvements." Only the first 8,000 were successful. There were 40,000 applicants the moment the queue opened. Countless Danes wasted their lives away. Watching their computers for countless hours completely in vain. Because the computer system couldn't cope with more than a handful in the queue at a time. Two more, badly organised "online lotteries" will take place later in the year. Cut Danish CO2 by HOW MUCH by 2030?

The government has announced billions will be available for new motorways for the big cities. Cut CO2 by HOW MUCH by 2030? Yet more horror stories of trafficked, Eastern European "slaves" sleeping on the floor of shipping containers, on site? Probably. They'll be competing with the Eastern European slaves being trafficked for the Femern Crossing.

Talking of modern slavery: An interesting story in the global news. Google.advertising.con is so sociopathically greedy that it subcontracts its vital, server hall, equipment maintenance to very low paid workers with piss-poor conditions. We are talking <cough> wages, which an Amazon slave worker would sneer at. Which means that Google.advertising.con has openly admitted that it doesn't give a damn about our security. Nor the security of the internet. Nor the security of our private data. Anybody would think they were Facebook!

Google.advertising.YouTube.advertising.con now has so many adverts overlaid on "creators" videos that they now easily outnumber "real" videos in an average watching session. All of these adverts are aimed specifically and directly at the knuckle dragging, moronic, low IQ, educationally challenged, inbred, brain damaged, spectator sports fan, lower class, graffiti artist, social groups. [Or, just add any PC term of your own choice.] 😉

Exactly as expected of course. No self-respecting adult would ever condone giving up their valuable and increasingly limited, lifetime, waking hours. Just to watch such puerile, equivalent of projectile diarrhoea as an advert. Complete with "live" sound effect, voice overs direct from the lavatory. One day, advertising, without the formal permission of the potentially abused, will be treated as a serious crime against humanity. Since when was all advertising not subliminal?

Jinping City now has 100 billionaire, slave drivers. It's official.

Did you see the tinpot, Turkish dictator, flashing his <cough> "micro-manhood," for the entire world to see?

7 Apr 2021

7.04.2021 Denmark's "Reverse Robin Hood Syndrome."

 ~~

Wednesday 7th 34-50F[?] rather cloudy. With very little of the promised sunshine so far. A walk to the lanes into a cold westerly wind. Traffic intermittent but busy at times. The neighbours' "outdoor" dog has finally become bored with barking at me as I pass. The day was marked by frequent short hail or rain showers.

In Danish news: Greenlanders have voted against the ruling party in the election. Which probably means an end to a massive, planned, mining project.

The superpowers had been queuing to economically invade Greenland in exchange for pocket money bribes. Greenland has "vital" rare earths in abundance and "economically vital" northerly sea routes opening up. Properly managed, it could turn Greenland from abject poverty and chronic alcoholism into another Norway. Emphasis on "properly managed."

There is OFFICIALLY a 5:1 difference in local incomes across Denmark. With the richest ghetto the large area north of Copenhagen. The poorest, an immigrant ghetto on the outskirts of Odense. Though there are plenty more poverty stricken areas spread over much of Denmark.

A Danish taxpayer funded, "energy improvement" fund is expected to be completely depleted within THREE DAYS. It took only four days to be used up last time. This from a country still promising to cut their CO2 pollution by when? This from a country still trying to lead the world on empty climate promises? A million EVs by when?

Just think of this "energy pool" as yet another tax handout for the upper-middle classes. Only they, can afford the professional energy surveys. Only they have the ready funds arranged with their friendly bank manager. For the balance of their luxury "green" improvements. To be called upon as soon as the taxpayer handout website opens for [tax handout] business.

Only they can borrow against the absolutely guaranteed, tax-free hyper-inflation of property values. Already beating all previous records this year. This in a climate of almost zero interest rates. Our 7.5% mortgage x 30 years is fixed by the lender's demand for a massive charge for conversion to a lower rate.

Fit triple "energy" glazing to save on CO2? We have plastic tarpaulins over our rotting, single-glazed windows. It drums in the gales but helps to reduce the draughts. The 39% tax on my miserable, little fraction of a state pension is going straight to the wealthy.

So they can build their wine cellars, their sprawling conservatories, their indoor saunas and their indoor swimming pools. Meanwhile, our living area sank to only 7C, 44F this spring despite the wood stove. Some of our external walls were several degrees below freezing! The cost of insulation well beyond £10k equivalent.

Install £10k+ heat pumps? Several of our neighbours have been burning stinking, industrial pallets and demolition waste for years. They still use pre-war, water heating stoves 24x365 and have done so for decades. Year round, choking smoke from every direction regardless of wind direction. I suppose it makes a change from stinking pig shit from every direction!

Our hovel is actually reducing in official value as local taxes increase endlessly. Local homes never sell on the open market. Years pass as the 'For Sale' boards bleach to total illegibility.

Those which change hands do so only at forced auction. To expand absentee landlords', "paper" property investment portfolios. Leading to unkempt, uninhabitable properties. Massively overgrown hedges. Light blocking trees and weed infested, wilderness gardens. To be enjoyed by those who must still remain. Locked into the same-old, same-old, broken economic system. They call this mess "democratic socialism?" Seriously?

The news is that the race to access the "energy saving" fund was begun several days before the website was open. One chap was quoted as being something like number 40,000 in the queue. He accessed the website the moment it opened officially. He expects it to be 40 hours before he comes to the front of the online queue, By which time the "lottery prize" fund will be long  gone.

They are having similar, queuing problems with the [Jinping Plague] vaccine booking website. I logged on soon after getting the messages that I could book a time and place. After a short wait I was told I was only one minute from the front of the queue. Then, just as the little man reached the end of the moving bar it suddenly became 39 minutes to the front of the queue!

I tried again later. There was still a very long wait. Does not compute.

And again, later still. I actually made it onto the website after a 7 minutes wait. I was next! Whoopee! Only for it to repeatedly crash for 20 minutes! It told me I would not lose my place in the queue if I left. So I went for my shower. They were lying. I returned and there are 32,000 in front of me now and the queue is paused. Perhaps it wasn't meant to be?

Later again: Now 21,000 in front of me and an hour's wait according to the website.

6.04.2021 Long term starvation ends NK hope of Olympic gold!

 ~~

 Tuesday 6th 32F, cool and cloudy but bright and breezy. Stronger winds expected. Risk of wintry showers? There has already been a couple of snow showers before my walk. A seriously cold wind rather spoilt the occasional brightness. My eyes were watering, running down my cheeks and causing wind chill by forced evaporation!

Better on the way back. Now with the wind behind me. So I was able to drop my hood. The winds had blown the hedge slashing debris into the road again. Though the McSlobs excess packaging was still defiling the verge. Perhaps they deliberately make the card and paper extra soggy? So that it remains where it is discarded by the typical McSlobs clientèle?

13.30 38F. There were frequent hail and snow showers, between sunny periods, during the morning. I swept away several 2" falls of hail. It all melted away soon enough.

In breaking news: North Korea has dropped out of the Olympics. Citing "long term starvation" as being a poor basis for international competition.

5.04.2021 It is snowing hard! NO blizzards are forecast!

 ~~

Monday 5th 34F, cloudy but hopeful of some sunshine. 7.50 and a blizzard has completely stolen the view. It stayed dry but cool for my walk to the lanes. It was surprising how variable was the snow cover. Some fields were solid white. While those next door were their normal green. I was told off by a Great tit for having the timerity to walk past its tree on the road. A couple of noisy geese went over. Now it is brightening up with sunshine.

Denmark is to spend a vast fortune on motorway charging stations for ultra-wealthy, EV owners. Long queues of petrol heads are expected to block them in the hope of a rare sighting of a "real" Danish owned EV. No doubt hoping to make a quick fortune on Google.Advertising.YouTube.Advertising.Con as mentally retarded pranksters. These same, Danish billionaires', private chargers will then be removed. At even greater expense. Because a single, commercial charger has been installed anywhere else within the national borders of Denmark. Even on the island of Samsø. [Sic]

Denmark has a new "Insane Drivers" law. Exceeding speed limits by 100%, exceeding allowed, blood alcohol levels and other "perfectly normal, sociopathic" behaviours, will result in immediate confiscation of the car.

There was a delay as insane driver apologists demanded that leased and loaned cars were not eligible for confiscation. Which was a complete nonsense. Since leased [or loaned] cars were the favoured form of transport for certain [sociopathic] individuals. Banned drivers simply registered their vehicles in another person's name and continued to drive. Or imported an identical car and swapped the number plates around.

Quite a few, mainly young, drivers have already found themselves on the side of the road without transport. Permanent confiscation must be approved by the courts. To decide if the car should be sold at auction. With proceeds going to the public purse. The absolute human right, to own a life-long driving license, is also up to the courts. The Danish news is constantly reporting drivers with multiple bans continuing to drive.

Despite the availability of something called "Information Technology" [Sp.?] there still seems to be no cross referencing of driving license, vehicle registration, health, sight, habitual drug and drunk behaviour, income, taxation/wealth, periodic vehicle testing, psychiatric history, insurance, driving offences and Road Tax. So any drug abusing, homeless, 6 year-old with ADHD and a paper round can own and drive a brand new Ferrari.

Drug dealers and other criminal gangs, running fleets of leased, luxury cars seemed to go completely unnoticed. Until the drivers are finally arrested for criminal behaviour. Even when these same vehicles were frequently reported to be used illegally or antisocially.

The Danish newspapers were full of headlines of alcoholics refusing to stop driving. Even with the most bizarre and dangerous, repeated behaviour behind the wheel. Like driving along cycle paths and pavements. Only when the Danish TV companies did an extremely rare outside broadcast. Beyond the capital's social barricades. Did the police finally intervene.

There is a suggestion that certain Danish streets could become "No Cars on Sundays" affairs. Petrol heads will, no doubt, be queuing to enjoy their absolute human right. To drive where they damned well please. When they damned well please and how they damned well please. Even if it is at insanely high speed just to reach the local takeaway. Burp!

By the time they have robots, affordable enough to do litter picking, I shall be too old to notice the linear landfill. Which frames my daily, rural walks. Do you think anybody would mind if I buy a long pair of tongs and put the garbage right back on the road where it came from? Is there any law against returning garbage INSIDE a McSlobs? Which is precisely where 90% of the local litter comes from.

4.0.4.2021 Wintry wanderings.

 ~~

Sunday 4th 39-46F, very heavy overcast and breezy. An hour and half walk. Mostly over rough ground. The wind was cold on my hands and the poor light made a mockery of my 87 photos. I saw a Great crested grebe, several Coots, Mallards and a complaining goose on the marsh pond. The goose left and did a circle around the back of the pond. Later I saw a deer out on the field. It stared at me for ages but didn't flee until I started walking towards it. I had no choice as it was on the same field track.

3.04.2021 Viaplay showing bloody horror film trailer over YouTube.advertising.con

 ~~

Saturday 3rd 33F, bright sunshine. Internet is back down to 80Mbps again. It should be over 200Mbps. Their advertising says the speed is guaranteed. Or is it the advertising which is guaranteed? Talking of which: Viaplay keeps showing nasty [bloody] adverts [over YouTube videos] for a horror film about murderers.

Sociopathic fuckwits, eh? They'll do anything for money. I haven't slept properly since they started showing the [bloody] trailer! It is no [bloody] wonder so may Danish children need their "happy pills" to get through the day!

A walk in quiet traffic to the lanes. Slightly cold on my hands but the bright sunshine helped. A few small birds, including Greenfinches singing and foraging, but nothing much else to report. Too busy for a ride.

2.04.2021 A better bit of Butterburr.

 ~~

 Friday 2nd 37F, cool overnight but promise of brightness. The week ahead is forecast for night frosts and snow! I didn't get where I am today: clearing snow in April!

There was a cold, westerly wind as I wandered the spray tracks on a large field. No wildlife and none of my landscape photos were worth sharing. The Butterbur is in flower prior to producing giant rhubarb leaves. Used medicinally for thousands of years for many ailments.

1st April 20121 GOP in Jinping's employ.

 ~~

Wednesday 1st April 44F, very heavy overcast and breezy.  Yesterday's warm weather [61F] was the last for a while. An eye-watering wind from the NW added to the heavy overcast. Only one car passed me on the first half of my walk. On the return journey it was back to normal. Very odd. Little else to report today. A single, singing skylark rose [and rose.]

It has been confirmed that the US Republican Party is in the pay of Sly "Plague" Jinping. Their "duty," in return for massive, tax-free handouts, is to oppose any change. Which would give the US any advantage. Over Sly "Plague Jinping's highly profitable, global, economic invasion and empire building.

The GOP "Chinsider" bribe system is working flawlessly. Every Asian who is attacked in the streets just increases sympathy for China. Meanwhile, the GOP opposes any change which would make life better for the US masses. Dirty old industries and inefficient energy production [and wastage] are constantly promoted. At the expense of beneficial "green" or "climate friendly" measures. Smog is good. Clean air is bad. Coal is good. Solar and wind wasteful and fitful. Gas is good. Car batteries die. Like all batteries soon do. Guns are good because they make every American fearful.
