Saturday 29th 43F/6C [7.30] A mixed forecast. Possible early sunshine becoming cloudier. There were no sun symbols on the chart. Quite a gusty, southerly wind.
Up at 7am after a rather busy night at the fire bucket.
Saturday morning is usually an excuse for a ride to another village. Which has a charity shop open only on Saturday mornings. I have almost run out of olive oil for frying. The "best in test" organic oil is usual sold by only one supermarket chain. I have visited two, so far, but still no oil. There is another outlet of the chain at this village.
9.25 Back from my walk. The sky was mostly clear except in the east. Where the sun was supposed to be shining. Though it did so briefly. Cold on my hands. Made worse by the wind. Not bad conditions for a ride. Provided I dress warmly and and am windproof.
