22.11.2025 In the absence of a nap.

  Saturday 2nd 36F/2C [8.15] Dark grey and windy with light showers. Only a few patches of frost on the brambles. 60F/15.6C in the room. It only reached 66F/19C by bedtime. With an extra log to keep the stove going. 48F/9C in the greenhouse this morning. Yesterday's white frosting has changed to condensation.  

 Up at 7.30 after a fairly quiet night. I watched the digital clock change to 6:00:00. Then drifted off again.

 9.20 Back from my walk. It was cold damp and windy. Hundreds of jackdaws were flying past noisily. Gulls out on the fields. A few more sailing on the wind.

 12.00 Back from a shopping trip. Two villages. Several charity shops. Breezy and occasionally a little brighter. Only 59F/15C in the room. So I have lit the stove. 

 I had to go out again. I had forgotten the bread rolls. 

 19.30 Dinner was chicken, mushrooms, tomatoes and beans. There were no eggs left. Another oversight. The room has reached 66F/19C.
