19.11.2025 Snow later?

  Wednesday 19th 31F/-1C [8.25] Slightly misty and another white frost. Rain or wintry showers after lunch. 61F/16C in the room. 4C/39F in the greenhouse.  

 Up at 7.30  after quiet night. I was going to get up earlier but drifted off again. My right hand is hurting again after all the log moving. I have a nosebleed. Dripping at less than one second intervals. That could be due to dragging the trailer across the gravel. I have squeezed the bridge of my nose and stuffed it with tissue. I was going to go for a walk. I had better wait a while.

 The nosebleed soon stopped. I was only gone for 20 minutes. Every passing vehicle reminded me of wind chill. Dull grey skies and uniform frost.

 10.40 33F/0.6C Overcast. The room temperature dropped to 60F/15C. So I have lit the stove.

 I have wasted the day educating myself on YouTube.

 Except for an afternoon nap. 

 The forecast is for snow. It is just raining at the moment.

 Dinner was fish fingers and chips. The room has reached a cosy 68F/20C. It is eating through the logs.
