21.11.2025 I'm in charge!

 Friday 21st 28F/-4C [7.00] Another white frost. A sunny day is promised. Reaching 2.4C/36F with light winds. 62F/16.7C in the room. I put a log on at bedtime to enure the stove kept going for a while.

 Up at 7.00 after a busy night queuing at the fire bucket. 

 9.15 Back from my walk in bright sunshine. The hard frost allowed me to walk on the bare earth of the tractor tracks. I did a rectangular loop and then back along the new drive.

 I spent some time imaging the sun. Making steady progress. I have found a better site for my telescope. Though it requires chopping down some legacy shrubs.

 16.00 30F/-1C Back from the shops with some essentials. The car was covered in ice and frost. I used de-icer and hung about while the engine warmed up. The heater is crap and takes ages to demist the inside of the windows.

 Stove lit. 60F/15.6C in the room. A beautiful grey horse is grazing nearby.

 Dinner was beans on toast and tomato soup. Both care of Heinz special offers.
