Thursday 12th 45F, another very dark and dismal day but dry. No ill effects noticed, so far, from yesterday's 20 mile ride. The wind is picking up now it is light. Time for a walk.
Not only the wind but 200 yard mist and muddy roads had arrived. I was grateful for my hood though it didn't feel particularly cold. The mink gulls weren't happy. My name is mud in gull circles. They had all sneaked onto the roadside field overnight. To practice their social distancing, as usual. Then along comes their favourite bogey man and they all leave in a hurry!

Honorary Oberstleutnant [Sick pass] Chump says he wants a revolving back door fitted to the White House. He claims it will smooth the exit of all the sacked "disloyal" personnel while he still pretends to be the US Deficit.
He has finally showed up in public at a [quote] "losers" war cemetery after six days hiding in the TWH TV room watching cartoons A bit late, one might have thought. After he cancelled an official visit to another "losers" war cemetery because "the light didn't suit his hair colouring" on the day. All we need now is a chest full of self-bestowed, honorary medals and the four year farce will be complete.
Sly "The Plague" Jinping claims the Hong Kong opposition's resignation is a direct affront to his offshore bank accounts. The world's richest man has been feeling the pinch since he released his plague. It was only supposed to cripple the US. Because he knew The Chump would downplay the dangers for political gain. He knew the cynical US citizenry wouldn't bother with masks and social distancing in the name of freedom from government interference.
A few thousand Chinese "nobodies" were sacrificed to make it look like an accidental release. What Sly hadn't reckoned with was the reduction in exports to the US as Chump got the hump over tariffs. Then Sly's best buddy Bozo still couldn't cope with the online demand for cheap Chinese tat. Despite the colossal loss of US lives.
