21.08.2020 Keep taking the money!

Friday 21st 65-75F, rather overcast and breezy. A blood red NE sky early this morning. There was a cloudburst warning overnight and until lunchtime today. I haven't been outside yet to see if the world has been washed away. Most of it still seems to be intact judging by what can be seen from the window.

When I finally escaped from Chez Hovel I was confronted by a southern sky quite unlike I had ever seen before.

The whole lot was sliding off to the south east rather than heading south like the cloud which followed. I managed only half a mile before large droplets suggested I retreat to the safety of home. Whereupon it immediately stopped raining of course. Though it certainly managed to pour down a little later.

There were some fierce gusts pushing the trees around at lunch time.

The Danish Metro has been [very thoughtfully] putting out worthless Jinping antiviral hand wash in dispensers for their passengers to protect themselves. However, their supplier had their "antivirus" hand wash approval revoked early on. As being worthless as an antiviral. No alcohol content or not nearly enough to kill the Jinping, one presumes, but I'm no expert.

So the supplier sold it off to the Metro. Which company, not having the common sense to check with an expert, assumed that their supplier was honest.

Meanwhile the supplier continued to fail to provide an accurate description of the hand wash ingredients to the Metro. Having already been forced to change their labelling. I am roughly translating the Danish news so won't say any more. 

Except that any business which gains illegally from activities related to the Jinping Pandemic shall be punished fourfold. Don't hold your breath! Wear a masQue instead? Oh, I forgot. You don't believe in masQues and most of them are worthless anyway according to MasQuebook.

Half of them are made in China and fraudulently  labelled. Many don't meet the CE standards according to earlier Danish headlines. Now that is just the sort of news story to undermine respect for and the widespread use of masQues.

The lying bastards who are spreading these empty rumours about viruses being too small, to be stopped by cloth masQues, must have very small brains. The virus prefers to float around in microscopic droplets the same size as the bacteria which the masQues protect against. These droplets cannot pass either way through an approved surgical mask given reasonable care.

If this was the USA there would be ambulance chasers all over this. "Have you ever travelled on the Metro and become infected with The Jinping Virus? Then queue here for your no win, no charge compensation."
