Tuesday 11th 67-85F, bright and breezy. Another hot one in prospect. Walked to the lanes. Took 130 photos. Walked back along the fields to avoid the traffic.
Wednesday 12th 64-78?F, another hot one promised. I really don't like hot weather. The bees and butterflies do. There were far too many to count in the garden yesterday.
A walk around the rural block with a pleasant, easterly breeze for company. An almost complete lack of birds today. A couple of crows, a single gull and a wren. August is a bit late for silent spring!
Spent hours ferrying trailers full of prickly hedge cuttings to the recycling yard in hot sunshine.

Thursday 13th 62-80F, same weather again. A warm but breezy walk to the lanes. Lots more fields have been harvested and baled. Some have even been raked. We finally have some Type II surgical masks in case we need them. Shame they don't stop the foul smell of pig shit spreading on the fields!
