Tuesday 23rd 57-72F, sunshine and even warmer. Temperatures are expected to continue upwards for several days. I enjoyed a longer and earlier walk today. Though over familiar ground. Along the marsh and past the lake. Up through the steep fire tracks in the forest and then back along the main track to the village.
The whole journey was accompanied by the sounds of warblers. They were even out on the fields of oil seed rape. Clinging to taller, flowering weeds and singing.
A family of Redpolls was sharing a dead tree with Goldfinches and a Blue tit. While swallows perched nearby. There were only half dozen Mallard ducks to be seen on the big pond. I returned with my trousers soaked up to the knees from wading through long grass in the woods.

The Danish supermarkets, which offer home delivery, are getting increasingly lax. More and more items are out of stock. Since they charge for delivery it isn't exactly a charity. If we have to reorder, perhaps in the vain hope of renewed stock, then that's another delivery charge totally regardless of fulfilment.
Trying to organise completely different meals at very short notice, is becoming ever more tiresome. How are we supposed to cope with a complete lack of bread or rolls from both supermarket services? What is the point of long term, self-isolation? If we then have to break quarantine to personally shop around for these missing items?
