20.06.2020 Give me sunshine. Now will do.

~~

Saturday 20th 60-66F Heavy overcast. A breeze from a northerly direction behind the trees. Yesterday's thunderstorm warning passed without incident. The same warning continues this morning.

It has stayed dry so far. Only slightly brighter than yesterday with even a few patches of blue in the grey. Another walk to the lanes with voluntary extensions.

Still snapping away getting used to the new camera. 236 snaps today. Plus a shed load more later. Just reached 1100 images in three days.

Not quite so dark but still heavily overcast in the afternoon. Exploring macro potential of the 12-60mm in the garden. Sharlachglut hybrid Gallica rose with yellow longhorn beetle guest at the table. 60mm [124mm FF] 1/250, f/7.1, ISO 400.

Sunday 21st 60-76F, a bright start but some cloud expected. Here it comes now at high speed from the west. Blobs of the white stuff are belting across despite little movement in the trees. A walk to the village. Only 170 pictures so far. Lots more after a short ride to the lake. The trike makes an excellent base for greatly increased range over walking for photographing wildlife. The time saving over walking there and back [even briskly] gives me far more time to play. There is almost no chance of contact with anybody. Bright sunshine for much of the day.
