Saturday 25th 37F, with a bright start but cloud expected later.Here's what happens if I stay at home instead of taking my usual, morning walk! [Right]The Head Gardener denies knowing any balloonists. A rare sight indeed in Denmark! They were almost a daily occurance at one place we lived in Gravely Blighted. Rumours have it that this is a prison warder's balloon, but stolen by escapees.
Wacko Chumpo wants to buy frigid Greenland from Denmark. "To safeguard its people." This by the <cough> leader of the same country which "safeguards its own people." By cutting off their water supply when they cannot pay their bills during the Jinping Pandemic. And by not ensuing all their people have ready access to free on demand, health care. No even during The Jinping.
Presumably Greenland has resources which Wacko Chumpo's owners want for themselves. From his recent performance, Wacko's owners are wrestling violently over ownership of the hugely [sic] popular, TV puppet's strings.
Any suggestion that Wacko Chumpo is a sock puppet. Or that his owners are fighting over their entitlement to direct, rear [back door] access, never came from me. 🤣

A short afternoon walk but no birds of prey today. Though a pair were busy circling our garden. Over and over again at below 50 feet! Possibly looking for a nesting site? Something must have put them off because they eventually moved away. They were last seen heading for the forest. I don't blame them! I would too if I was looking for a new home.
