Friday 20th 37-45F, an indistinct, cloudy sky. The cloud steadily cleared but it took a long time. A northwesterly wind took the edge off what little sunshine was visible.I walked up to the forest and did a loop on newly cleared tracks. They have been all but impassable for years. After all, they already know everything there is to know about literally everything in the universe. Nor will they avoid high risk areas and known, pandemic, hot spots. They would clearly choose concrete boots, in a global flood, because they were fashionable and "everybody is wearing them!"
