Tuesday 26th 58-61F, clear blue skies and sunny. Busy at home. No walk so far. Nor was there today.
I deleted my little tirades against sociopathic racists and the sociopathic self-entitled scum. The post title says more than enough. No point in predicting even more deaths. Just remember their names. Add them to the endless list of criminals and other deluded fools who make the news headlines every single day of the year.
Scum behaves as scum always does. It rises to the top of every human sewer. It does not conceal the darkness beneath the surface. It merely highlights its presence. Ask Infantile Twatter or Maskbook. Both profit from being global conduits for sewage which they deliberately fail to filter. Before releasing it untreated into the oceans of human misery and drooling idiocy.
Wednesday 27th 54F, grey overcast but calm. I had better have a walk before I fall off my soapbox. Or trip over it while trying to climb back up to my elevated advantage point. A walk to the lanes in fairly light traffic. The news is that traffic has halved during the pandemic but not accidents and deaths on the roads. The willfully educationally challenged simply increased their speeds. Without having the skills and/or intelligence to manage a task which is quite clearly well beyond their abilities. If only these Darwin Award recipients would go without taking others with them. The world might slowly improve by iteration. Two hares dashed across the winter flood, mud flats on a field. Lots of plants and trees in flower now.

A five mile afternoon ride to watch more ducks. The light was completely different to my usual, morning walks. The owner of the lake came along and invited me to use the grass banks of the lake for my bird watching. Which was a kind offer as the lake is almost closed off on all sides by mature trees and lots of other cover. I saw a Grebe, a large grey heron and a Shelduck family with three chicks. Plus lots of Mallards of course.
