7.03.2021 Fromage lumbers on from ruinous Broxit but is still a free man.

Sunday 7th 36F, Heavy overcast and breezy with mixed forecasts. A loop around the windy fields by the spray tracks. Captured a few landscapes but the light did not provide any "sparkle."

It started raining at 11.30. Putting an end to my foolish energy expenditure on the garden project.

A senior police officer has put an end to his junior officers receiving the virus vaccine "out of turn."

A Danish vaccine centre had completed their list of those present. Only to discover that they had valuable doses left. So, rather than "throw them in the bin" they chose to cross the road to the local police station. Where they used up their surplus stock on serving officers.

What a great idea, you might think? There is a desperate shortage of vaccines in Denmark and the EU. The vaccines are very expensive. But, hey, let's not let that get in the way of "policy." It is only taxpayer's money in tax burned Denmark after all. Nope. Not if you are this particular senior, Danish police officer.

No doubt his minions will wryly think of this. The next time they automatically place their lives on the line in service to the people.

"Font line personnel?" Not according to this particular police boss. Save on potential sick leave of "vital personnel?" Nope. Help to reduce the risk of spreading the pandemic further? By those in regular contact with lots of the general public? Nope. Not if you are this particular, senior police officer:

"Officers receive surplus vaccines. But they may no longer according to their boss.

"It is idiocy to throw the small, precious drops in the bin."
