31.08.2021 Being buzzed.

 ~~

Tuesday 31st 60-70F. Mostly sunny. Several days of sunshine and warmth are promised.

A loop up to the woods on the stubble fields. Probably the last chance before the harrow or plough arrives.

Several Emperor dragonflies provided an aerial display in the garden during the 70F heat of the afternoon. I counted at least five zooming around.

30 Aug 2021

30.08.2021 There's a lot of it about!

 ~~

Monday 30th 59-66F, heavy overcast and breezy instead of the promised sunshine. Where do I queue for my refund?

A later walk taking a stroll across the stubble fields before completing my usual walk along the lanes. A brief flash of sunshine at 09.00. The sign of the sky breaking?

The sociopaths are still running YouTube. Deafening adverts, are all aimed cynically, at the severely mentally handicapped. Now exceed the creator's videos for total viewing time.

Piss poor, mental health for YT executives is clearly an absolute requirement for recruitment. How else can you possibly explain [or excuse] the crass incompetence of these deluded fuckwits? If they are earning a penny more than the cleaners, then it is a gross injustice to cleaners everywhere.

It is reported that a third, anti-vaxer, radio show host has died of Darwin's Award. Or, more accurately: Jinping Plague. Meanwhile, an anti-vaxer "teacher" has infected 22 children and several parents in a daring display of mask-less sociopathy.

It became much more sunny but still cloudy. Reaching 66F.

29.08.2021 Crash test snails?

 ~~

Sunday 29th 58F, very heavy overcast, wet and breezy. Expected to become dry but still grey.

I waited a couple of hours before plodding off to face the Sunday traffic. When I was suddenly overtaken by a giant snail. The slugs have been dominating the landscape but this chap was in quite another league.

28.08.2021 More rain.

 ~~

Saturday 28th 57F, heavy overcast, continuing wet and windy from the NE. The picture is from two days ago. When the sun remembered to shine.

I repeated yesterday's walk around the stubble fields. The grey mist of approaching rain could be seen as the landscape vanished from view.

After several days of the Internet being at the speed I pay for, it has now dropped back to "normal." i.e. Only 1/3 of what I am [supposedly] paying for. Or, I am paying three times as much. For the service my ISP only pretends to provide in their lying, online propaganda.

Incompetence or crookery? If this were the UK I could just call the Local Trading Standards Office for expert advice. Denmark has no visible, consumer protection. If it had, then the supermarkets would be in deep trouble for repeated and deliberate false advertising. Offers which don't and never did exist. Except in the minds of the endlessly optimistic punter drawn to the shop.

This has been going on for at least the 2.5 decades I have been living here. Then there is the failure to match display price labels with the charge at the checkout. Online sales have only boosted their ability to rip off the consumer. Some big shed "consumer electronics" chains wouldn't know the truth if it caved their roofs in. All of this is only possible in a sales environment completely without, visible, consumer protection.

Denmark is going to drop all domestic, pandemic restrictions on the 10th September. The authorities believe the high percentage of those vaccinated means the Jinping Plague is no longer a critical threat to society. Let us hope they are correct. The world seems to be backtracking on previous freedoms as new mutations cause more waves of infection. I shall continue to be the only one in the village wearing a mask. I haven't had a professional haircut in over two years. It's not a cosmetic issue. I just hate the thickness of my hair at the back. Can you have a proper trim while wearing a mask? Probably not. Is it worth the risk of going without? Probably not.

27.08.2021 Rotten Apple Cook steals slaves' wages.

 ~~

Friday 27th 54-62F, heavy overcast, wet and windy from the north east.

I waited until 9am for my walk to avoid the worst of the rain. Then wore my winter, waterproof coat. After half a mile of tyre spray I could take to the stubble fields. Only light rain fell as I walked a loop on the bare, spray tracks between rows of hay.

Showers continued all day with only brief patches of blue sky and even shorter periods of sunshine. The garden was decorated with numerous damsel and dragonflies.

Slavery pays: The slaver! I bet he doesn't need suicide nets on his work place. Keep overpaying for the latest product!

26.08.2021 Alphabet.Google.YouTube.Advertising.Con are sociopathic liars.

 ~~

Thursday 26th 52F, clear and bright start. Cloudy later.

A warm walk to the fields for another stroll though the stubble. It won't be long before it is harrowed or ploughed. So I have to take my brief chance to enjoy new viewpoints. Capture new landscapes.

An immature, crash test dummy came screaming around a blind corner in his little, old banger. Probably in excess of 70mph. The national speed limit is 50mph or 80kph on rural roads.

He was so piss-poor a driver that he almost clipped the opposite verge. Fortunately without consequence on this occasion. No doubt lives will be lost further down the road. It is only ever a matter of time when such fuckwits get behind the wheel. The weeds of the road.

A seven mile ride in the afternoon. It rained almost continuously there and back. Distant views completely disappeared behind the showers. With a stiff, northerly breeze hindering progress somewhat.

_____________________________________________

Thought for the day. [May contain nuts.]

What does it tell you about the abysmal moral standards of Alphabet.Google.YouTube Advertising.Con? When every YouTube video is punctuated by several double adverts. No matter how short the videos they will start with a pair of adverts aimed squarely and only at the severely, mentally handicapped. Nobody else would be taken in by this garbage.

Then there will be several advert breaks during the video. All aimed [cynically] at the severely mentally handicapped. [Because nobody else would be taken in by this garbage]

Google played no part in the creation of the video. But demands payment in the form of advertising [but only for the severely mentally handicapped] to pay for their hosting service.

What compounds their evil sociopathy, even further, is that every advert tells us "the video will start in so many seconds." BUT NEVER, EVER DOES! Because there are ALWAYS TWO ADVERTS [aimed only at the severely mentally handicapped] in series. Because nobody else would taken in by their garbage.

So, any child watching YouTube on a "smart" Google Android TV soon learns that ALPHABET.GOOGLE.YOUTUBE.ADVERTISING.CON are habitual liars. And, if by default they are habitual liars, then it must [surely] be okay to lie several times per minute? Simply because non-tax paying ALPHABET.GOOGLE.YOUTUBE.ADVERTISING.CON is one of the the richest companies on the planet. Lies = Wealth and power beyond the dreams of avarice!

It follows that if you want to become rich enough, not to pay taxes, then you must lie continuously. About literally everything. Including during the adverts. Because all adverts are, again by default, lies about a product or service. If the service or product had any value [at all] it would not need to be advertised. Millions would buy on word of mouth recommendation alone. And I'm not talking about some corrupt YouTube influencer scum on the take.

Surely the Alphabet.Google.YouTube.Advertising.Con adverts must be lying endlessly too? Because they are hosted by the world's worst liars. [Google] Which goes to prove that Google Android is not a smart TV control system at all. It was never meant to be. It just another, advertising sewer for Google's advertising sewage.

A final thought: Should such an immoral company, as Google, be allowed anywhere near AI?

25.08.2021 Crosspatch hunter.

 ~~

Wednesday 25th 58F, dark grey overcast and windy from the NW. Expected to remain so all day.

It started drizzling and blowing as I left the gate and the shelter of the garden trees behind me. The prairie had finally been harvested. So I used that as a chance to wander over new ground. Sadly the rain reduced visibility. Making my images look out of focus. Even at one hundred meters, the juvenile ducks on the marsh pond retreated on automatic pilot.

Later, I spotted this damp and furry crosspatch huddled in another field. The hunting must have been slower than the prey. Fortunately the misty rain petered out as I plodded back along the road. With the lofty, roadside poplars hissing in the wind overhead. Sounding just like tyre roar at times. Despite there being no sign of cars coming when I repeatedly glanced back. Yesterday's RTA drama had become just a fading memory this morning. No doubt more deeply etched on the psyche of those actually involved.

An afternoon shopping trip in the car, in rain. Masked as always. The only one in the village.

Thought for the day?

The thoughts of deranged, corrupt and tyrannical, genocidal, multi-billionaire, Sly "Plague" Jinping? Seriously? Do they never learn?

 https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-58301575

The last Chinese moron with any "thoughts" caused the deaths of up to 80 million, real Chinese people. Mao the Merciless. Genocidal maniac. Couldn't organise a piss up if he controlled a thousand, Chinese breweries. The perfect example of why every political ideology needs free and open criticism. To hold up a mirror to the truly evil and deranged, cult leader.

Hitler had his thoughts too. It brought every blood thirsty, raving lunatic out of the woodwork. He only managed to murder a fraction of Mao's final score. Stalin must be spinning in his grave at his own paltry score.

Communism is estimated to have cost 150 million deaths worldwide. Yet still the corrupt butchers try to pretend that theirs is the only way forwards. God knows how many deaths The Church is responsible for over several millennia. Though it can't hold a candle to the communists. The Church had the grave disadvantage of a much smaller population to rape, torture and murder.

24 Aug 2021

24.08.2021 A bit of an accident.

 ~~

Tuesday 24th 46F, cool with bright sunshine. Just my usual walk. Except for a road traffic accident.

It was the perfect storm of unhappy coincidences.. A girl on a scooter was riding slowly into the low sun. A large lorry overtook her using the whole width of the road despite double white lines. This lorry was followed by another. A huge, articulated tipper truck. It pulled out as if about to overtake the scooter. Only it was taking a sharp exit into a narrow drive on the other side of the road.

Like all such manoeuvres there was a long period when the huge trailer came to a complete but unexpected standstill relative to the main road. The following car braked. To be gently hit by the one from behind. Then a bus hit the second car from behind. Causing extensive damage to the car boot but no casualties. There was shattered glass and plastic all over the road. The bus driver was visibly upset.

Fortunately I was standing in the bus stop pull in to let the traffic pass. So was not responsible in any way. I make a habit of allowing the traffic to pass freely by frequently stepping onto the verge. Claiming one's right to the busy road, without a pavement, as a pedestrian, is complete idiocy. It costs nothing to pause and let large vehicles pass unhindered.

Cars will usually manage to avoid me if there is nothing coming the other way. Having a bright, low sun in their eyes means that extra care is required by all. I always keep this in mind when I am out walking. Particularly on corners where they would not expect find anybody walking during the rush hour.

23 Aug 2021

23.08.2021 Stubbling through the mist.

 ~~

Monday 23rd 56-70+F, thick mist. Expected to clear to warm sunshine. Yet again I used the newly harvested fields to access new viewpoints. The mist did not provide the drama which one might have hoped for. Being neither low, nor having clear stratification.

It was a warm and sunny day.

~~

22 Aug 2021

22.08.2021 Incoming!

 ~~

 Sunday 22nd, 57F. Heavy overcast when we were promised sunshine. I spotted a gaggle of geese overhead just as I reached the road. A longer walk today. Down to the village and along the spray tracks. Past the marsh pond. Where dozens of juvenile ducks took fright. As they do every time. No doubt prompted by the heron. Which rules the local roost.

Onwards, to snake around the forest. Finally allowing me to cut upwards and across the newly harvested stubble. Then back down the south ridge. Passing the mysterious raised mound with its mature oaks.

A Red kite joined me over the last field. To give an effortless, aerobatic display. Though resenting my turning to take a fuzzy snap. By distancing itself. I was gone for an hour and a half in all.

~~

21 Aug 2021

21.08.2021 Balmy or barmy?

 ~~

Saturday 21st, 46F, cooler but with bright sunshine. Light, westerly breeze with clouds to the south. Sunny periods promised.

Warm sunshine for my walk to the lanes under a speckled sky. Two deer were running away. Pausing to look back. Only a few test crash dummies were practising their poor driving. Never quite achieving imperfection.

~~

20 Aug 2021

20.08.2021 A bit of a ride.

 ~~

 Friday 20th 61-64F, uniformly grey overcast. Late walk in non-existent traffic. It was eery! Then it started again and was soon back to normal.

A shopping ride for 17 miles in the late morning. Quite sunny. Going too well with a tailwind. I was cruising at 17-20mph on the flat. It couldn't last. I had to ride back home straight into the wind. Lots of farming activity and the countryside was looking gorgeous. A bit tired on the hills on the return leg.

Rain fell on the 14th of August at a high altitude research station at 3200m [10k ft] in the Greenland Arctic. It is described as a historic first.

19.08.2021 Cat-a-tonic.

 ~~

Thursday 19th 56F, cooler, bright, but rather cloudy. With a westerly breeze.

Just a walk to the lanes today. The cloud persisted, on and off. I saw a beautiful, feral cat hunting out on the fields. It bolted for the nearest copse.

Later I saw a young deer grazing three fields over. Too far away even at 800mm MFT. [1600mm full frame equivalent.]

It remained cloudy for most of the day.

18 Aug 2021

18.08.2021 Oh deery me!

 ~~

Wednesday 18th 58.8F, bright overcast. A wet morning is promised. I had better get going.

The image is of yesterday's recalcitrant deer. I couldn't continue my walk until it moved. "Go away!" 😄

Today's walk was mostly going around in circles too. Out on the fields to gain new viewpoints. I saw the Marsh harriers circling around their isolated trees in the middle of the prairie.

~~

17 Aug 2021

17.08.2021 Attention seeking deer.

 ~~

Tuesday 17th 56F, cloudy. Probably lots of showers. Going for an early walk to avoid the increasing, rush hour traffic.

 Once I had escaped to the lanes I took to the newly harvested fields. My boots allowed the freedom to wander through the stubble.

I saw two deer and snapped away with my camera. One of them just stared at me without moving away. I even tried waving. Walking towards it finally nudged it into escaping through the hedge.

It stayed dry with only brief glimpses of sunshine. As I walked a large circle out on the muddy fields. It is interesting to speculate whether more people have walked on the Moon than on these fields in the last couple of decades.

Parts of the USA have run out of water.

16 Aug 2021

16.08.2021 Freedom is the default state for humanity.

 ~~

Monday 16th 54F, overcast with rain promised. It remained overcast for my walk. The Marsh harriers became three, very briefly and then there were two. Newly harvested fields offered new viewpoints for my camera.

____________________________

Human society is absolutely reliant on opposition for progress. Even basic survival. History is drenched in the blood of those who resisted an absolute monopoly of power, or thought.

Without opposition, human DNA, in every aspect of live and thought, quickly becomes corrupted. The cancer of rule by denial of freedom of thought becomes a pandemic. Crippling all chance of human progress.

Those who would suppress alternative ideas are the masters of their own doom. When it becomes forbidden to express alternative thinking, then the monopoly becomes, by default, the builder of mass graves.

Man's worst behaviour always arises from the closed mind. The worshipper of unnatural laws and their idiotic makers, is always a death cult. When weak men gain power, by brutish behaviour, then the savages are loosed. The psychopaths can only flourish when the environment is beneficial to blood letting. All restraints on basic human decency are then cast off. Whether they be Nazis or bankers.

Cults can be as small as a local "nutter." Lording it over their weak-minded disciples. Or a nation of fascists, religiooze or communists. Dictatorship, by any other means, would smell just as foul.

Wisdom is so rare a human commodity that we must spread the potential damage amongst at least two committees. One to temporarily do its least worst. While the other waits for its turn to do equally badly.

One might argue that a third or fourth committee is vital to share the load. The enormous advantage of committees is that few will agree. Given the freedom to do so. While they argue in closed rooms they cannot be harming the people. Except by inactivity. Though, fortunately, this is highly unlikely except in dire circumstances.

A free press is taken for granted. There is no other, safe way, to govern mankind. How else will the narcissistic buffoons, behind their over-sized desks, measure the width of their cloth?

How do you measure the quality of leadership? It is impossible without the freedom to express your delight and displeasure at the drooling clowns on their tottering egos. It is an absolute requirement that those who would rise up the toiling pyramid of humanity are subject to cartoon and dirty joke alike.

Only when every member of society has a voice and a potential critic, will humanity be in overdrive towards the stars. When more than two agree it soon leads to positive feedback and circular thinking. Religion and dictatorship are equally happy, extremist bedfellows. Note that they are both, almost inevitably male. Both have equally weak minds and both are thoroughly evil.

And there lies the problem. Denied the free and creative input of wiser women, men must always default to chanting savages.

Save us from deranged zealots! One rule for all. No exceptions. Nature abhors a monopoly. Far more than a vacuum of power.

Self-praise is no recommendation. [At all!]

15 Aug 2021

15.08.2021 Some can do it right.

 ~~

Sunday 15th 60-65F. A grey start with a short shower and rainbow soon became sunny. I walked to the far woods. Then back across the freshly harvested fields. It was very peaceful.

My camera battery died at half way. Probably because I hadn't downloaded yesterday's images. I usually to leave it on USB charge afterwards. Hearing the battery alarm was a first.

I saw a few distant, birds of prey. Flocks of 50-100 sparrows foraging on the fields and retreating repeatedly back to the hedges as I approached. A hare dashed away from safe cover. To cross the vast, bare field.

It rained just before 10am. Just as I was thinking of going for a short ride. More showers and cloud expected.

A cloudburst warning has been released for this evening and overnight by the DMI.

~~

14 Aug 2021

14.08.2021 Cat alert!

 ~~

Saturday 14th 60F, heavy overcast and windy. Showers possible.

My familiar walk under grey skies with a  stiff breeze at times. The Marsh harriers were there again. One flying and the other resting on the ground.

Went shopping in town. I was the only one wearing a mask. Saw several birds of prey hunting low over the fields beside the road.

 ~~

13 Aug 2021

13.08.2021 July was the warmest month in 142 years.

 ~~

Friday 13th 62-74F, bright but cloudy again. It became steadily more cloudy during the morning. 74F by lunch time.

Jut my usual walk to the lanes. One Marsh harrier visible in the distance in the flattened crop. Another field is ready for the harvester. Which is parked up behind the hedge.

July 2021 was slightly warmer than the previous record holder from only last year. High temperature records were broken in Siberia, Greenland, Europe and America. Extreme flooding, from extreme rainfall, has affected many countries around the globe. Wildfires are affecting many nations. Including Siberia. Where the fires are larger than the rest of the world's put together. The smoke has reached the North Pole for the first time.

It will soon be cheaper to fix the climate than pay for the repairs, ill health and ever increasing deaths. But remember, children, it is all just a hoax. Which is why your governments are still subsidising oil and coal production. Which is why the genocidal, lifetime dictator, Sly "Plague" Jinping is opening new, coal fired, power stations on a weekly basis. Which is why lifetime dictator, Pootin is still able to sell "his" dirty energy to the lying, hypocritical politicooze in Europe. As Pootin rattles "his" rusting fighters at European borders, they openly welcome his gas pipelines.

~~

12 Aug 2021

12.08.2021 A red deer doe.

 ~~

Thursday 12th 63F, bright but rather cloudy again. Just my usual walk. Took a few snaps. The Marsh harriers seem to have moved on. A smaller bird of prey was circling over the garden on my return. There was a Red deer doe resting behind our back garden hedge yesterday afternoon. It eventually became tired of being peered at and disappeared through the far hedge.

We used to find deer in the garden when we first moved here. Hedges and fencing put a stop to that. I haven't mentioned that I saw an all black squirrel the other day. The first squirrel I've seen in probably 20 years. I was out in the car and it ran across the road in front of me. We had one clinging to a tall tree in a gale back then. Never to be seen again.

~~

11 Aug 2021

11.08.2021 Abandon hope.

 ~~

Wednesday 11th 53F, bright but variable cloud again. Just my usual walk in bright sunshine. It felt much warmer than the temperature [64F] suggested. Traffic heavy.

The news is dire. Climate, wildfires, flooding, heat waves, Jinping Plague, extreme weather, conflict, dictatorship, public unrest. Football?

Can you imagine if the world abandoned "dirty" energy sources, like gas, for home heating? If they all went over to heat pumps there would need to be three times as many windmills. Three times the area of solar farms. That is just to maintain supposed parity with today's home heating, energy consumption.

Then there are all the electric cars to be charged on a Grid built only for cities. Quadruple the need for electricity! The cost in new rural infrastructure alone would cripple most countries economically. There would be nothing left to buy costly US munitions.

With the world so badly organised, that only a very few psychopaths make global decisions, we should be honest about this. Either the politicooze classes are utterly powerless to make the necessary changes. Or, they have abandoned the majority of people on the planet to their doom. Future generations do not even apply in the short term thinking between elections. How else do you explain the lack of real progress? It can't be to save money. The cost of the damage is already in the trillions. And we haven't seen anything yet.

~~

10 Aug 2021

10.08.2021

 ~~

Tuesday 10th 59F. Last day of frequent and heavy showers. Or so it is claimed. I'd better have my walk before it starts all over again. Thundery showers warning for after lunch.

A proper walk today under grey skies. With only brief glimpses of the sun. Gone for an hour and forty minutes. Up to the forest and along the steep tracks.

A black cat was hunting in the woods a mile from the nearest house. It ran off when it saw me. Then a few gulls resting out of the fields.

Back down to the road and the walk home. Traffic highly variable. A was the weather, later on. The promised thunderstorms missed us.

~~

9 Aug 2021

9.08.2021 Wettest?

 ~~

Monday 9th 58F, overcast and windy. Another day of showers expected. It has already poured down continuously. Putting off any chance of a morning walk. It poured all morning almost without pause.

The IPCC is releasing a stark warning to the world's politicooze today. Dealing with the grave dangers of climate change. The report will sail right over the heads of the politicooze unless it keeps entirely to words of no more than two syllables. Lies, damned lies and the politicooze.

The politicooze couldn't stop the virus. Cant end racism. Can't stop crime. Can't stop ill health. Can't provide equality. Can't stop sexism. Can't cure religion. Can't provide public safety. Can't provide justice. Can't stop terrorism. Can't stop slavery,  Can't stop hunger, Can't stop dictatorship and genocide in umpteen countries around the world.

You still expect them to stop climate change? They are owned by the 1%. They are only allowed to fiddle with 1% of a a nation's petty cash. Just to continue the illusion that they actually have some power. Otherwise even fewer deluded souls would bother to turn up at to vote at the rigged elections.

They promote nationalism. Reinforce poverty. Reinforce damaging stereotypes. All for their own propaganda gain at the next round of lies masquerading as an election. They call it democracy but we don't get to choose the candidates. They do. They call it democracy but no party member is allowed to publicly disagree with the prime minister. In other words a token "pretence" at tinpot dictatorship. Surrounded by unelected advisers all at the taxpayer's expense. Endlessly manufacturing and massaging the news in their own favour.

The politicooze ruin most economies through offensive spending. They take our money and provide nothing in return.  Promote industrialised, toxic farming. Promote toxic takeaways, unhealthy eating and drinking habits. Promote a lack of exercise to save on pension payments.

The mutually dependent and parasitic news media fight for advertising space. From the equally corrupt politicooze. And all the ills of industrialised, global destruction. To appease the predatory, sociopathic demi-gods ruling The Markets.

Advertising has become the ocean of diarrhoea upon which the tax-free, Big Internet slowly sinks to the depths of depravity. Death is the only real escape from the curse of advertising. Anything which needs to be advertised is not worth its own weight. In the lies, oozing from the puss of its own sores, from its own strain of toxic advertising. Do we care? Not really. It's all just a jolly game of musical chairs for a few, rabid narcissists on the gravy train.

I never did get my walk today. Not unless you count walking swiftly around unfamiliar, supermarkets. Or desperately searching big shed, DIY stores for non-existent stock.

~~

8 Aug 2021

8.08.2021 Wetter.

 ~~

Sunday 8th 61-69F, bright and sunny but rather cloudy with some pretty feathers. Soon overcast. My familiar walk to the lanes in very light traffic. The gulls were resting on a field, two over, but still dispersed on my arrival. No harriers visible today.

~~

7 Aug 2021

7.08.2021 Wet.

 ~~

Saturday 7th 58-72F, bright then overcast. Yesterday's late thunderstorm was more dark and wet than noisy. We saw a couple of flashes heard a few, minor rumbles. Torrential rain reduced visibility and roared on the roof.

This mornings weather is changeable. From overcast to sunny. Yet again thunderstorms are promised for the afternoon. It was warm, humid and sunny.

A short walk to take a few photographs. One Marsh harrier sitting out on the same field 250 yards away.

~~

6 Aug 2021

6.08.2021 Give me sunshine any day.

 ~~

Friday 6th 59-74F, bright and breezy but cloudy. It became overcast before breaking up a little. The Marsh harriers were back but just as distant. The traffic was strangely quiet. Almost eery as ten minutes passed without my seeing a single vehicle.

The tiny dot in the sky is a harrier. I was almost tempted to paint it out and call it a landscape.

After quite a sunny day thunderstorms are forecast for after 19.30. 19.00 and it is getting windy. The DMI radar shows a band of heavy rain and lightning approaching.

~~

5 Aug 2021

5.08.2021 Moronicus perambulous.

 ~~~
Thursday 5th 57F, overcast and grey with variable sunshine forecast. It was raining lightly as I started my walk. Then kept it up. It was not unpleasant. Even adding to the rural odours. Though it made the tyre noise from passing vehicles much worse.
There was an odd chain of clouds to the east. Whiter than the sky beyond and climbing into the cloud base in a series of pillars.
A psychopath failed to run me over on a blind bend. Cutting tightly into the apex to reduce visibility to an absolute minimum. As they do.
Probably travelling at ten times his braking distance at that deranged speed. The well trained, drooling idiocy of a fully paid up, Top Gear fanboy. No flowers please.
~~
4 Aug 2021
4.08.2021
 ~~
Wednesday 4th 53F, cool, clear and bright.
A short walk in bright sunshine. No harriers this morning.
The verges are flush with many different, wild plants.
~~
3 Aug 2021
3rd August 2021
 ~~
Tuesday 3rd 56F, heavy overcast and calm. A cloudy day is expected.
It was drizzling very lightly as I set off but soon passed. It brightened slightly without becoming sunny. The Marsh harriers were sitting near each other out on the usual field.
~~
2 Aug 2021
2nd August 2021
 ~~
Monday 2nd 58F, bright start but expected to be cloudier and windy.
It soon became overcast. The Marsh harriers took to the air, from their familiar roadside field, but were just too distant again. Captured against the sky they were black silhouettes. I am trying manual focus but it doesn't help. I need a longer lens and more light.
It became steadily brighter throughout the morning. Reaching 68F in warm sunshine by lunch time. [13.00] 74F by 14.00.
~~
1 Aug 2021
1st August 2021 Harrying light and shadow.
 ~~
Sunday 1st 58F, bright but cloudy with a light wind moving the tree tops.
Light played tag with shadow on the remaining crops. As a westerly breeze tried to lift my cap. Leaning columns of rain failed to prop up distant, dark clouds. The Marsh harriers almost collided as one tried to take the place of another in a distant tree.
