Wednesday 29th 67F/19.5C [8.40] Overcast leading to sunshine and a 28C/82F afternoon. Breezy from the south. 21C/70F in the room. 20.5C/71F in the greenhouse. I'll have to open it up again. I had to close the doors and skylights. As it was cool and rather windy.
Up at 8.00! I woke briefly at 6 & 7am after an unusually quiet night.
I extracted the clear, plastic roofing sheets from the Morris last night. It was quite a struggle but easier handled singly. By rolling each sheet into a cylinder. Their individual weight became of no consequence.
I had better water the outdoor plants. And have. The temperature in the greenhouse is rocketing. Already 23C/73F and the sun has hardly reached it. Due to the towering hedges next door.
Just had my morning chat. Proof of intelligent life. That sort of thing.
Where can I go on my e-bike?
I'll explore progress on the new railway route nearer Odense. There are some beautiful, rural lanes to reach that area. I have the second battery on charge while I prepare. It is getting quite breezy.
14.45 82F/28C. 63km Bright sunshine, but windy, all morning. I zigzagged between minor roads crossed by the new railway. Several lanes were blocked. As work continues.
I had taken my lunch rolls with me. Plus some sub-micro, Corny bars and miniature, orange juice cartons. For which I stopped at 13.30 and 14.00. I should have stopped to eat earlier.
There was a tiring headwind all the way back. So I cut across country. Rather than doubling back over my earlier route. I had turned back at 40km at Elmelundsvej, near Sanderum. On the edge of Odense.
It would have been too tiring to duplicate my route to get back. Which proved to be sensible. Because I was getting increasingly tired on the way home.
I was falling asleep at the computer. So I went to bed for a half hour, timed nap. The greenhouse is over 30C/86F. Though with a through breeze.
I had to go shopping. The bread rolls had gone green in the bag. I think some idiot had been handling them in the factory. The green marks were the size of fingerprints. The mold goes right through the bread. Even if little is visible outside.
I'll have tuna on two fresh rolls for dinner. After having a huge dinner yesterday.

12.00 It is already starting to rain. I have fitted a 20cm cap on the post holding the newest security camera. It will keep the worst of the weather off the cable connectors. The cap is a round, brown, aluminium, baking tray and cost me 22kr (£2.50?] in a charity shop. I drilled a hole in the middle and simply screwed it down on top of the post. Safely covering the cabling.
