Tuesday 2nd 41F/5C [8.15] A long, grey, wet day is forecast. Early wind and temperature falling off a cliff around lunch time. 62F/16.7C in the room. 46F/7.8C in the greenhouse.
Up at 7.10 after a ridiculously busy night. The eastern sky was strangely purple.
12.30 Back again. Shopped on the way home. It was spitting with rain on the return journey. First today. Only 60F/15.6C in the room. I had better light the stove.
It did rain in the late afternoon. While I was catching up on a backlog of washing up. Moving onto watering my plants.
It just reached 68F/20C by 18.30.
Dinner was sardines on toast.
