Friday 2nd 53F/12C [6.45] Bright but cloudy. Lots of rain just SW of us.
Up just before six after a quiet night. I have an early appointment with a physical rehabilitation centre in town. Related to my recovery from the Dyno-Rod, heart plumbing operation. I intend to cycle there.
I have no idea what to expect. Nor how I should dress. I may be asked to do something "athletic." To prove my fitness level. Septuagenarian basketball? Juggling medicine balls? Shorts and a T-shirt I think. I just hope I am in a fit state to ride the 13km back home afterwards! It's a lovely ride in either direction. One I have ridden hundreds of times over the years on my trike. Perhaps a dozen times on my e-bike.
I'm back. 28km. There were hundreds of swallows flitting around some big barns going both ways. The introductory interview extended to 90 minutes. All in Danish. The physiotherapist was a lovely girl. It was mostly me bragging about my lifetime of achievements. As a solo butterfly. There were no rehabilitation exercises today. I have to turn up on Mon 12th for an hour's exercise cycling. I'll probably go on my bike. 😂
16.15 The local prairie is being harvested. They were at it at 11pm last night. Still going just now.
20.00 Dinner was sardines on toast. I forgot to take a picture. The machines are still working out on the fields.
