27.10.2026 Windswept!

Tuesday 27th 50F/10C [6.10] Grey skies with showers. Peaking at 12C. Windy again. 11-13m/s gusts.

 Up at 5.20 after waking earlier. My sleep patterns are still haywire.

 13.00 Back from visiting my English friend with shopping on the way home. 

 The roads were littered with twigs and leaves from the gales. The beech trees are colourful in their autumn finery. Some of the maples in the roadside gardens were absolutely stunning. 

 There were puddles everywhere. On the road and in the fields. The pheasants were playing chicken again!  

 13.45 Lunch over as I struggle to stay awake. 

 It was so dark and overcast in the afternoon. While still blowing a gale. That I had no desire for a ride. So I wasted the hours on YouTube.

 Dinner was fish fingers and chips. The last of both in the freezer. I have some more shopping to do.
