Trikes and (odd) bikes.

My wife, Shirley, died suddenly of cancer, in the spring of 2022. Since then I have been struggling uphill. My cycling blog became a therapeutic journal. Where I recorded my recovery from the shock of my loss. The house and garden need a lot of work. So much of the text and images are now about my "improvements." My purchase of a "Speed" e-bike transformed my cycling after I passed 75. More recently I have had heart problems. Four stents have given me a new lease of life.

Friday 28th 64F/18C [7.40] Overcast. A day of heavy rain. Up to 26mm or 1". With thunder and cloudbursts possible. Peaking at 19C/66F in highly variable temperature swings. 22C/71F in the room.18C in the closed greenhouse.

Up at 7am after a fairly quiet night. The dizziness before the very early bedtime gradually receded. I had gone to bed fully clothed because I was shivering. Which meant that I was soon sweating profusely.
